Search Pima County Criminal History
Pima County maintains criminal history records through the Superior Court Clerk at 110 W. Congress Street in Tucson and the Sheriff's Department. You can search cases online for free using the county's ECR Public Access portal or visit the clerk office in person. Pima County is Arizona's second largest county and has its own online system separate from the state portal. Felony cases are heard at Superior Court while Tucson Municipal Court handles city misdemeanors.

Pima County Superior Court Access
The Pima County Superior Court Clerk's Office at 110 W. Congress Street in Tucson keeps all criminal case files for felonies in the county. Call (520) 724-3200 for questions. Files are public unless a judge sealed them. You can view files in person or search online through the county portal.
For copies, Pima County charges 50 cents per page. Certified copies cost 30 to 35 bucks per doc plus page fees. Add 8 bucks for postage if you want them mailed. Email legalrecords@sc.pima.gov to ask about specific records or how to request copies by mail.
Walk-in service is at the Clerk office in Tucson. Bring the case number if you have it. Staff can search by name but it may take longer. Pay with cash, check, or money order.
Sheriff Records in Pima County
The Pima County Sheriff's Department Records Unit at 1650 E. Benson Highway, Suite C in Tucson handles arrest reports and jail records. Call (520) 351-4650 for help. These records show arrests and bookings, not court outcomes.

Fees for Pima County Sheriff records are five bucks for up to 20 pages. More pages cost more. Body camera footage costs 46 bucks per hour to process. Most people just need the basic incident report or jail booking report.

Felony cases anywhere in Pima County go to the Superior Court in Tucson no matter what city the arrest happened in. Only misdemeanors stay in city courts.
State Criminal History Check
For a full state criminal history check, use Arizona DPS. DPS keeps records from all counties. You can request your own record through the Record Review process. This is free for personal review. It takes about 15 days.
Visit psp.azdps.gov to get the packet. You need prints done by law enforcement or a print service. DPS does not accept self prints. The state file may show arrests from Pima County and all other Arizona counties too.
Getting Records from Pima County
Visit the Clerk office in Tucson to look at files in person. No fee to view. If you want copies, ask at the window and pay the fees. For mail requests, write to Pima County Superior Court Clerk, 110 W. Congress Street, Tucson, AZ 85701. Include case number or person's name and date of case. Send payment and a return envelope.
Most requests are filled in a few days if you go in person. Mail takes longer, maybe a week or two. Email requests to legalrecords@sc.pima.gov if you have questions first.
